045_Besmer Plateau

The leitmotif of the outdoor design focuses on the site's own identity, reinforcing its charisma without altering it. The characteristic Besmer plateau remains clearly recognisable as a scenic area. While the private outdoor spaces face south towards the ravine, the views to the north extend well beyond the border.

Native trees and shrubs provide an added ecological value between the building and the public open space, protecting the privacy of the first floor dwellings. An ample green area extends through the centre, offering a free space for relaxation. The fluid transition between this green space and the mid-height vegetation with shrubs shapes this space. The area boasts leisure opportunities for all ages and a characteristic orchard, which closes the plateau to the west and reinforces the symbolic connection with the region.

A spacious lawn stretches out in the center, offering a freely accessible space to linger. Smooth transitions to low-growing wild vegetation with scattered shrubs define the shape of the lawn. The area features age-appropriate play facilities as well as a traditional local orchard, which borders the plateau to the west and reinforces a symbolic connection to the region.
