The architectural composition features a clear zoning of the outdoor space: a distinct separation between the urban facades along Hohenrain and Salinenstrasse with their public promenades and lanes, and the quiet inner courtyard as a green oasis. On the outside, a functional, partly commercial city facade is shown with the residents' entrances. The envelope typology is highlighted by a large tree canopy on the west side.

The courtyard consists of a continuous green area with a shaped vegetation topography above the underground parking garage. This creates semi-public and private niches for commercial spaces, common rooms, and areas to hang out. Edge plantings hide parts of the facades and create a protected green “Hortus Conclusus”.

Located in the center are meeting areas with lawns, a sand play island, and a grove of trees. Large solitary trees and retention areas support the sponge city principle. The geometric planting of the outer promenades contrasts with the naturally designed courtyard and also improves the microclimate. Covered bike parking is located in the passages leading to the courtyard.
