003_Renovation School Building Schollenholz

The landscape design is deliberately restrained in both geometry and materiality, closely following the architecture of the building. This creates a strong dialogue between interior and exterior spaces, weaving them together into a cohesive whole. A surrounding composition of native trees and shrubs establishes a distinctive atmosphere and integrates the school campus harmoniously into its immediate surroundings.

While the existing native hedge vegetation is retained, the western part of the site is transformed into a woodland park setting, allowing the adjacent forest to extend into the urban environment. Flowering trees create deliberate accents throughout the school grounds and make the changing seasons directly perceptible.

The arena remains the central gathering space and key focal point of the campus. It establishes a strong relationship with the new main entrance to the kindergarten. Secondary pathways adopt a rectilinear design language that reflects and complements the architecture.
