By deliberately placing the building, a new public square is created, which opens up to the west and is defined in relation to the existing development. The connection between the two squares is achieved through a uniform material choice for the surface textures. The two areas are perceived as a unified space.

The new square is being made lively and attractive with colorful flowers and tree plantings. Delicately growing groups of ginkgo trees give the space structure and life. Bike racks for short-term parking as well as seating that invites you to linger furnish the area in a subtle and welcoming way. A fountain element enhances the public square’s identity. The private outdoor areas on the ground floor are surrounded by native shrub themes.

The privacy of the residential units is protected this way. A shared outdoor space provides a place for communication and exchange. The proximity to the flowing water creates an attractive point of interest that is freely usable.
